2017 Marked our 50th Year!

The year was 1967 and America was experiencing its longest uninterrupted expansion in history....

...Feeling optimistic at the age of 24, my father Les Witmer left steady employment to start a fledgling residential masonry business with his friend and co-worker Dale McCoy. In 2017 we celebrated not only 50 years in business, but what we’d achieved along the journey.

We had evolved in size and capability, offering a larger breadth of specialty services to a wider variety of customers. The Witmer Group had become recognized among the nation’s largest specialty contractors as an expert in masonry, concrete and façade restoration, waterproofing, coatings and historic preservation.

We benefited from an incredibly talented team and were blessed to work with the very best customers and business partners, all of whom had contributed to our success.

Although the company had changed a lot over its first 50 years, its commitment to excellence and to providing its customers with the best possible value, remains at the core. We focused on developing an organization that could adapt to its customers’ needs, and continually invest in the people who share in that mission. We’d built ourselves to last.

Thank you for having been a part of the journey,
Todd Witmer, CEO
